Rob was excellent to deal with this past weekend when I came in to purchase my Edge, he explained everything to me and made the car buying experience a great experience. Rob was very honest and walked me through the process and listened to what I wanted and what I was looking for. I would highly recommend Key West Ford and to work with Rob.
Overall great experience
Purchased an Escape today from Derrick and was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and honesty. This made the decision much easier and more enjoyable. My only complaint is that upper management does not provide the advertised $500 gas gift card with EVERY purchase as advertised on their website (photo attached). There is no mention of stipulations so this was disappointing to see the almost “false advertising”. Overall I would still recommend.
Quick and professional
Jag was concise. I knew what vehicle i wanted to see. I phoned ahead and he has it ready and waiting for me. Ivan was honest and quick on his determination of my trade-in. Gurj had the numbers out before the computer had finished calculating them . The whole crew was quick, knowledgeable and professional. I knew what i wanted and they had no problem getting it for me. There was no hesitation in anything that they did to make it a fluid and successful process.
Quick and easy,no wait or down time, helped me get exactly the vehicle I was after.Whole experience was maybe an hour and a half

INFINITI Features Glossary For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
There is a myriad of wonderful technologies that make up the 2019 INFINITI QX50, and today, we want to wax poetic about its Heads-up Display (HUD), which comes as part of the ProPilot Assist package.
This machine’s HUD takes up a 9.0-inch area on the bottom of the windshield. The utility of it? Well, it presents some of the most pertinent information to your trip directly in front of you, allowing you to keep your focus on the road at all times as you cruise around Tacoma, Renton, Edgewood, and beyond. Because of the HUD’s inclusion on the 2019 INFINITI QX50, you won’t have to look down at the center console to receive items of interest that include (but are not limited to) your current speed, distance from the vehicle ahead of you, engine alerts, and navigation updates. Fortunately, as you might expect, you have the latitude to activate or deactivate this feature by simply pressing a dashboard button.

There’s nothing like all the modern conveniences that we’re able to bake into our automobiles these days. And one particular 21st-century standout of late has been Intelligent Park Assist as seen in INFINITI vehicles such as the 2018 QX30. The feature elevates the crossover even further, gifting owners with sublime peace of mind.
Here’s how Intelligent Park Assist on the 2018 INFINITI QX30 works: Once you arrive at your destination, there is a range of sensors implanted in the vehicle—more than a dozen, in fact—that size up the potential “fit” of any available parking spot you select. The car’s computer decides whether it is a candidate; if so, you can confirm the pending operation via the center console touchscreen. Once you do, the system autonomously snaps into action, guiding the car into its space. You won’t have to use the brake pedal, accelerator, shifter, or steering wheel as a result.
It’s important to note that the 2018 INFINITI QX30’s Intelligent Park Assist works for both reverse-in and parallel parking situations. While it is an available option on most QX30 trims, it now comes standard on the QX30 Sport.
Looking for a car that the little ones will love rolling around in? If so, you’re searching for an entertainment-packed large SUV, and if that’s indeed the case, you can’t really do better than the 2019 INFINITI QX80. It comes with a wonderful theater package the whole family will adore!
Notably, there are dual eight-inch screens on the rear of the front seats in the 2019 INFINITI QX80. This means the kids seated in the back will be able to enjoy movie playback—after all, the car features a surround-sound audio system. If you have children of differing tastes, don’t worry; movie playback can be the same on both screens or entirely different. Also, the seats recline for comfort.
When you spring for the theater package in this QX80, you will also receive two wireless headphone sets—perfect so isolate sound so you’re not distracted as you drive. Also included in this package are two headphone jacks, a 120V power outlet, HDMI audio/video input, and a wireless remote control. It’s fully featured!

Alright, we can certainly wager that you know about the differences between conventional manual and automatic transmissions. However, what exactly is the deal with “dual-clutch transmissions?” How does it differ and/or relate to a manual or an automatic? Well, we have the answers for you below.
A dual-clutch transmission as seen in vehicles such as the 2018 INFINITI QX30 is paired with the engine. While traditional manuals (“stick shifts”) offer only a single-clutch arrangement, this setup comes with two, as the name implies. With a single clutch, there’s a slight disconnect with the transmission that occurs when you depress the pedal—and a resulting bit of jerkiness as you’re driving. However, with dual-clutch transmissions, that jerkiness is eliminated thanks to the fact that it has two couplings that are not influenced by pedals. It’s a purely electronic system.
There are several benefits to a dual-clutch transmission as seen in a machine such as the 2018 INFINITI QX30. As mentioned, it operates much more smoothly than a single-clutch transmission. Additionally, it is also more fuel efficient; for example, the QX30 gets an average of 33 MPG on the highway.
Ah, the INFINITI Q50. It’s a sensational car with a ton of tech—so many impressive systems, in fact, that it’s impossible to cover them all at once. However, we’re going to start today by waxing poetic over its dynamic digital suspension and 3.0L engine.
This car comes with a fantastic engine that provides thrills and smiles. The 3.0L V6 churns out 300 horses at 6,400 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 295-lb.-ft. of torque at 1,500 RPM—and that’s just for the 3.0t model. If you step up to the Red Sport trim, its engine supplies a whopping 400 HP at 6,400 RPM and 350-lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 RPM. This means you’re looking at incredible performance that’s terribly tough to beat in this segment.
The 2019 INFINITI Q50 also comes with Dynamic Digital Suspension. This allows you to adjust the feel of your ride with a mere press of a button, there tweaking the suspension stiffness. With this kind of customization to go along with the might of the engine under the hood, the latest Q50 certainly brings a lot to the table.
Welcome back to our Features Glossary section, Tacoma! Today, we want to cover a topic we rarely go into here: limited slip differential.
Limited slip differential—as seen on such machines as the 2019 QX50—is actually a brake-actuated system that enables two output shafts to rotate at independent speeds from one another; however, the technology limits the difference between the speeds of the two. This means that your QX50 and other such INFINITI machines are more capable on difficult terrain (snowy pavement, for instance) as well as in other instances where traction would normally suffer. If any one tire begins to lose its grip, torque is automatically reduced to compensate.
Of course, the 2019 INFINITI QX50 is an all-around performer. It is outfitted with a 2.0L four-cylinder that pumps out an amazing 268 horses @ 5,600 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 RPM. Further, Driveline traction control and ABS are in place to help further mitigate slipping and skidding.
In search of an automobile with smart safety features? The 2018 QX60 and similarly equipped INFINITI vehicles come with InTouch Vehicle Monitoring.
InTouch Vehicle Monitoring comes in handy if you ever need to loan your car to a family member. Imagine you give the keys to your son or daughter and want to know when they arrive safely at their destination, but can’t count on them to actually remember to text you when they do. There’s a Drive Zone parameter that will send you a phone alert when your vehicle and its passengers reach where they’re going.
The 2018 QX60’s INFINITI InTouch Vehicle Monitoring can be used in other situations, too, even when you’re not dealing with family. You can opt to turn on a Maintenance Alert that will inform you if there is a car malfunction. Further, you may set a Max Speed warning that will tell you if a boundary threshold has been exceeded when someone else is driving your crossover.
INFINITI’s InTouch Vehicle Monitoring is a wonderful feature. Give us a call today to hear more about it!
If you’re like many of our readers, safety’s a critical consideration when you’re selecting a new car. And while it’s rare these days for us to spend time thinking about something so seemingly banal as windshield wipers, it turns out not all wipers are created equal, as is evidenced on the 2018 INFINITI QX60.
Standard wipers operate in the way you’re accustomed to—you turn them on and have to manually tweak their operating speed as the rate of precipitation changes. This can take your attention off the road, however. Fortunately, the 2018 INFINITI QX60 comes with rain-sensing wipers that adjust their speed automatically on your behalf when a storm hits. They can even turn themselves on whenever the first raindrops hit the glass!
The technology behind this feature is impressive: An infrared beam is attached to the exterior of the windshield; this beam then gets reflected to a sensor. Whenever rain falls, the precipitation disrupts the infrared stream, at which time analog and digital signals pass along the rate of rainfall to the wiper’s motors. Taking into account the velocity of your car as well, the operating speed of the wipers is thus decided upon.
DMS is nifty for anyone that knows they’re going to encounter wildly varying driving conditions (which, of course, is most of us). There’s a Standard mode, but also a Snow setting that lets you more competently deal with wintry weather by enhancing traction. As you'd expect, Eco mode puts a focus on efficiency, while Sport is tuned for performance. Regardless of your selection, the car automatically alters the transmission and throttle sensitivity for the best results.
Intelligent AWD is also on the table with the 2019 INFINITI Q50. It uses sensors to send details to the car’s computer, analyze the data, and make adjustments based upon road surface conditions. The technology can automatically send all available power to the rear or split it 50/50 between the wheels in order to increase traction.
The 2019 INFINITI QX80 has been tuned magnificently by INFINITI for performance. It’s an amazing luxury machine with two distinct advantages versus many other machines in its class: All-Mode 4WD and Hydraulic Body Motion Control.
First, there’s All-Mode 4WD. It offers both 4H and 4L modes, enabling you to move between maximum traction/full power and normal driving conditions. And because the technology is capable of tuning torque between the front and rear wheels, it’s able to actually enhance grip when it encounters slick surfaces.
The 2019 INFINITI QX80 also comes with Hydraulic Body Motion Control. This enables the smart distribution of pressure to either the outer or inner suspension via the monitoring of force levels. The result is reduced body lean and a smoother ride. Plus, this isolation of the cabin from the harshness of the street means there’s less vertical motion to bother you when you roll over a pothole.
